How we met....

This is the story of how we met:

We have known each other it seems our entire lives as our parents have been friends for many years. Our love at first sight moment was when we were about 10 & 12 years old at a 4th of July party at my house. We dated on and off through college and always knew we would end up together in the end.

The Proposal....

This was the most wonderful day of my life. Coty totally surprised me. He had asked me to go fishing with him at his house. I got to his house and he was no where to be found. I got to the back door and he had taped a note to the door that said it was "Scavenger Hunt Time!" He told me he had created a map for me to follow but before I left I was supposed to put on the red dress that was hanging on the chair in the house. (He had gone by my house and picked out a dress for me to wear!;) I changed quickly and started following the map to the next clue. After driving through the pasture, I finally found the next clue taped to a tree. I followed the clues which led me to the top of a hill where I saw his truck parked and he was standing there all dressed up and very handsome. I had so many butterflies in my stomach as he came and took my hand and walked me to the top of the beautiful hill. He had left a trail of rose petals all the way up the hill, and at the top he had set up the video camera and flowers and rose petals all at my feet. He said the sweetest words I've ever heard and then he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. It was the most perfect moment of my life, and it still gives me butterflies when I think about it!
